OCC Liptar //review

Hi! Long time no see, school has started and i'm busy. Anyway! OCC (obsessive compulsive cosmetics) recently had a huge sale on their old packaging of their lip tars (as seen above).
What is a liptar? it is simply a combo lip gloss and lipstick. Only a LITTLE is needed cover your lips! It's a neat idea.
Though the default price is (now, was) $18, the sale made it $9. So I bought one just to try it, I got Black Dahlia, a dark berry.
For reference, this is all I really used for my lips.
Now, the color I got a 'matte' color, and it is no where NEAR matte. It does not dry down, and it transfers like crazy. The color sheers out on your lips, and YES you need a lip liner for this. If you don't it runs out of your mouth like crazy.
Honestly I don't know how I feel this lip product. It's pretty and i've wanted this badly for a long time. Though it is only OK? It's great for make up artists, since it is easy to mix these. Though it bleeds too much for me as well as transferring. So I wouldn't buy this again.

Sadly, OCC doesn't plan to sell these packaging anymore, but in a new "ready to wear" format; like a lip gloss! In this case, i'll stick to my actually matte lipsticks!

AA Haul

Being a teenager with a job, and still living with my parents right now, i have a decent amount of money in my pocket. That being said, I've been obsessed with American Apparel and i basically spent a good chunk of my money on them. I still have some stuff on my wishlist but i gotta save up for those!!!
This isnt intended to brag, but just show how great of a company AA is!! Seriously, the quality is fantastic and i am in love with everything i bought.
In short, i bought a bralette, body suit, a short sleeve and long sleeve 2x1 rib button up shirt, anddddddddddddd an off shoulder top. I own a couple other things from them, but purchased at other times. All of the stuff is great quality! Even when i unfolded the things out of the package they didn't have crinkles in it (then again i live a couple hours away from their storage place in CA).

I suppose the point of me making this blog post is because yes, it is worth the money. You can stretch all you want and it will retain their shape. One tip though: Buy a size up on strapless bras and the off shoulder top!! I talked to a worker on the website and they recommended so!

Cheap DIY halter top!!

Halter tops are a very popular item atm. Though most popular brand names (like O-mighty and AA, and many others) sell them from $20-40. Which i think is personally very pricey? In this short lil post i will show you the cheapest way to make a halter top.

First you will need a basic tank top like this
Preferably one without the adjustable straps, because those can get in the way. Though they are still usable. You can get these for super cheap and Forever 21.
Then, all you do is cut the straps in the back and boom! You got yourself a cute halter top. Though you can't get them in unique designs like O-mighty, this is a great alternative. I've made three so far with old spaghetti strap tank tops i never use and i really like them!
Personally i really like to wear them without bras?? Because strapless bras are a handle, I like to think it's the 70s still and that wearing no bra is acceptable.

Back to school cutie with her supplies

Hi there!! Recently I started my senior year of high school! I planned to to have the cutest supplies for my last year there. Ofcourse i have standard notebooks and binders, but i wanted to show you my cuter things:
Recently, I got a space backpack from DOG DOG. It's super cute and i've enjoyed using it! On my bag, I have TOUGH GAL GANG items to add to my 'unique' factor. As if a space backpack wasn't enough.
Another cute backpack for school is this cute bag from ebay! These are usually $15-20. It's nice! Though it doesn't carry much-- great for a laptop though.
For my pencil pouch, I use an old "bananagrams" came pouch. I found it in my house, and have no idea where it came from. Though it was perfect for everyday school items!
What I carry: A crummy EOS lipbalm, I primary carry it for my boyfriend bc he forgets his.
Sometimes I carry a basic pink lipstick, shown here is Lime Crimes GREAT PINK PLANET. Either that, or the lipstick i am wearing that day!
The rest i carry are pens and pencils (only mechanical). The pink pencil, pen and blue pen, are all from a hello kitty store I visited! The last one on the right is actually from Vons, funny enough.

I had fun sharing this, it is nice to have cute school supplies. Something about it makes school a little more nice, plus the compliments are a plus!

Thank you for reading and have fun at school!image

First impression: Store Dog Dog

A lot of people seem to not like Inu Inu anymore due to the drama. A store called Dog Dog claims they are shady, I personally don't care about any of the drama. I just like to buy cute clothes :)
So! I bought from Dog Dog.co because of their affordable prices, i needed a backpack for school, and I wanted the peach hat from Inu Inu, but wasn't willing to pay the $24 for it. Currently Dog Dog's site is down. I think I paid $16 for the backpack and $9 for the hat, plus free shipping.
Since they are based in China, so shipping took a lil longer than if you bought from Inu Inu. I live in the USA and the shipping took just a week, after processing. Which is very good for China.

First, the backpack.
The print is super cute!! I love space, and the cute cartoon pattern is adorable. The Saturn pattern comes in around 3 colors. I backpack is standard size, and it is really sturdy, which suprized me. It has a large pocket and a small pocket, pretty decent and normal to see.
The inside is pretty large. It has a slit in the inside to separate different books, and a zipper you can see in the photo.
Weirdly enough, the bands on the back were undone, and it took me longer than it should have for me to loop it together. No big deal, just wanted to point it out.
Though overall I really like this backpack, it's cute and pretty cheap for the other ones on the market. It can fit a decent amount of books so it is good for school.

Now for the hat!
Again, i didn't want to spend $24 on Inu Inu for a HAT. What they sell and what Dog Dog sells is the same, and when it arrived, yes it it was worth $9. Not to say it is bad, but i feel as if Inu Inu takes their pictures in a way to avoid that large bump in the middle of the pattern as seen below.
Despite this, it is adorable still, peaches are my favorite fruit. So i am all in for the aesthetic fashion trends going on with it.
The only thing i would really complain about is the back. It doesn't seem secure and it is kind of a hassle. It doesn't seem like it would last long.
I've been wearing hats a lot, so i'm excited to get some use out of this in sunny San Diego.

Dog Dog is a really nice store, I love my items and I will probably purchase from them again. I like the shipping and the prices. So check them out!!

Lime Crime Unicorn lipstick review: Great Pink Planet & D'lilac

Hi! I'm aware a lot of people hate this company, but I have given them a second chance (as seen before on my other reviews). I have personally never had a bad experience with them! And I am a sucker for their packaging. That being said, I have been desperate to have a couple of their lipsticks! I bought their bright pink (Great Pink Planet), and their lilac (D'lilac). Honestly, I have wanted both of these colors since I was 14.
These both retail for $18 plus shipping, but if you have amazon prime you can get them for just $18! :)
As seen above, GPP (left) came in their limited addition packaging. I thought they ran out, but i suppose not. D'lilac came in regular packaging (which I honestly prefer).
Arm swatches! These colors are pretty pigmented! Both colors are "white-based", making them very bright and pastel! Both colors are pretty thick, while swatched on the arms. And they both have a pale-vanilla smell.
It is hard to see in this photo, but GPP sinks in my lip lines very much. This is common with white-based pink lipsticks, though considering this is originally worth $18 (i bought it for $9), you would think it would avoid this. It also gives a very odd texture to my lips. I recommend putting concealer and powder over your lips before applying. Despite the thickness, it is still creamy and transfers; not kiss proof. And it leaves a hot dark pink stain after removal! I love this color, it probably doesn't look that good on me, but it is fun! On the lips it is pretty 'neon'.
D'lilac on the lips is a lot less neon than GPP. Honestly, it is probably more wearable. This color gives less texture on my lips than the pink, and is quite thing. You could alone wearing powder and concealer with this, but as you can see, the redness around my lips shows. So probably doing it anyway would make it more cleaner, since we all don't have a lilac lip liner. This color is not matte either and can transfer.

All in all, would I recommend these? It is different for both colors. Great Pink Planet needs a lot more work, and is not worth $18. On the other hand, D'lilac is a lot better and I would recommend it!
